It is a natural part of aging for women that occurs usually between the ages of 45 and 55 years. According to WHO, <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cmenopause is deemed to have occurred after 12 consecutive months without menstruation for which there is no other obvious physiological or pathological cause and in the absence of clinical intervention.\u2019<\/span><\/i><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The menopausal transition can be gradual, spanning into three stages. Perimenopause stage can last several years where the hormonal shifts will start becoming noticeable.
