But is Panchakarma all about <a href=\"https:\/\/gileaddigital.com\/nattika\/en\/treatment-principles\/\">Ayurvedic treatments?<\/a> Let&#8217;s have a look into the Concept of Treatment in Ayurveda.\r\n\r\n\r\n<br><br>\r\nWhenever the equilibrium of <a href=\"https:\/\/gileaddigital.com\/nattika\/en\/tridoshas-park-am-see\/\">Doshas<\/a> gets disturbed, mild symptoms occur. If this disequilibrium is out of proportion, then it gets expressed as a disease. \r\nFor bringing back this equilibrium into normalcy, we have two main modalities &#8211; Shodhana (Purification\/Detox) and Shamana (Pacifying with medicines). \r\n\r\n\r\n<br><br>\r\nShodhana is what we call by the name <a href=\"https:\/\/gileaddigital.com\/nattika\/en\/pancha-karma\/\">&#8220;Panchakarma<\/a> &#8211; The five purifying measures)&#8221; [Pancha~five ; Karma~Action\/Treatment]. These are as follows:-\r\n<ul><li>Vamana &#8211; Therapeutic emesis.<\/li>\r\n<li> Virechanam &#8211; Therapeutic purgation.<\/li>\r\n<li>Vasthy &#8211; Therapeutic enema.<\/li> \r\n<li>Nasya &#8211; Nasal medicine installation.<\/li> \r\n<li>Raktamokshana &#8211; Therapeutic bloodletting.\r\n\r\n<\/li><\/ul>\r\n\r\n\r\n                        <\/p>\r\n                    <\/div>\r\n                <\/div>\r\n                <div class=\"col-md-6\" data-aos=\"fade-right\"> <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/gileaddigital.com\/nattika\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/Panchakarma-Content-Image.webp\" alt=\"Ayurveda Food\" class=\"img-fluid\"> <\/div>\r\n            <\/div>\r\n            <div class=\"row align-items-center\">\r\n                <!--<div class=\"col-md-6\" data-aos=\"fade-right\"> <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/assets\/img\/yoga_01.webp\"\r\n              alt=\"Image placeholder\" class=\"img-fluid\"> <\/div>\r\n          <div class=\"col-md-6\">-->\r\n                <div class=\"heading-wrap element-animate\">\r\n                     <p align=\"justify\">But even more important in Panchakarma is the Purvakarma (Pre-Panchakarma preparation), which requires close monitoring of the individual for particular signs denoting various stages of Dosha transformations.  Proper attainment of the desired stage in Purvakarma is very much necessary for the successful outcome of Panchakarma!\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<br><br>\r\nShamana refers to usage of internal and external medicines in order to pacify the imbalanced Doshas. In certain situations, oleation therapies like various kinds of massages and the sudation techniques like Podikizhi, Elakizhi, Njavarakizhi, and so on May also be considered under the heading of Shamana.\r\n\r\n\r\n<br><br>\r\n<a href=\"https:\/\/gileaddigital.com\/nattika\/en\/ayurveda-philosophy\/\">Authentic Ayurvedic<\/a> line of management includes detailed examination of the person by a Doctor who specialises in Ayurveda and deciding a care plan ideal for individual requirements.
